To be perfectly honest, any situation in which "rolling badly" counts as failure is a stupid fucking waste of time.

If I have automatically failed D&D for the next eight sessions because I rolled 14, 13, 12, 8, 8, 7, that's not the time to learn failure, this isn't craps. You should just not play with rolls, because that's dumb.
